Who is Julia Quinn?

Julie Pottinger, better known by her pen name Julia Quinn, is a best-selling American author of historical romance, and the woman behind the wildly popular Bridgerton books, now a Netflix original series produced by Shondaland Media.

She sold her first book, Splendid, at the age of 24 and has been working with the same editor and publishing house for her entire career. Her books have been translated into 37 languages. In the United States alone, there are over 10 million copies of her books in print.

Who is Elin Hilderbrand?

Elin Hilderbrand is an American writer mostly of romance novels, and sometimes called the Queen of “beach novels.” Her books are generally set on and around Nantucket Island where she lives with her husband and their three childen.

Before becoming a full time writer, Elin Hilderbrand spend spent her summers on Cape Cod, until her father died in a plane crash when she was sixteen. After that, the worked the next summer in a factory that made Halloween costumes before moving to Nantucket in 1993 and taking a job at a local paper. She later started writing and her first book was published in 2000.
