Coming from American suspense novelist Jeff Abbott who is known for his work in the traditional detective fiction genre–he is the author of The Whit Mosley series and The Jordan Poteet mysteries. However, the Sam Capra Series is in the spy thriller genre. The story begins when Sam Capra, a brilliant CIA agent with a happy family loses everything that matters to him. After that, he must use his special set of skills to prove his innocence, save his family, and rebuild his life. This led him to help the helpless and protect the innocent.

How to read the Sam Capra Series in Order?

Every entry in the Milo Weaver book series works as a standalone story, but the lives of the different characters evolve from one novel to the other.

  1. Adrenaline (2010) – Sam Capra is a brilliant young CIA agent and his wife Lucy is seven months pregnant with their first child. Sam receives a call from Lucy while he’s at work. She tells him to leave the building immediately. He does…just before it explodes, killing everyone inside. Lucy vanishes, and Sam wakes up in a prison cell.
