Who is Marian Keyes?

Marian Keyes is an Irish writer known for her work in women’s literature. Many of her novels are known for their more comedic tones, but they cover dark themes including family, divorce, mental illness, domestic violence, drug abuse, and alcoholism.

Born in 1963, Marian Keyes studied law and accountancy, and first had an administrative job. She began writing short stories during that period and while suffering from alcoholism. Encouraged by her publisher to submit a novel, Keyes started writing Watermelon, which was published soon after. Since then, she has continued to write fiction and non-fiction.

Who is J. A. Jance?

Who is Alan Furst?

Alan Furst is an American author of historical spy novels, born in New York in 1941. A graduate from Oberlin College in 1960 and from Penn State in 1967, Furst worked in advertising and wrote magazines articles before becoming a full-time writer.

His first published books didn’t really spark a big interest among readers, achieving a limited success. He really strike a chord with the reader with Night Soldiers in 1988, which led to a succession of related titles. He is noted for his successful evocations of Eastern European peoples and places during the period from 1933 to 1944.

Alan Furst lives now in Long Island, but he lived a number of years in France before that, first in Sommières (South of France), then in Paris.

Who is Ellery Adams?

 Ellery Adams is the pen name of American mystery novelist Jennifer Stanley (inspired by one of her favorite authors, Ellery Queen) who mostly wrote popular cozy mystery series (but also a few cookbooks).

Adams already wrote more than 40 novels, they are part of different series like the Secret, Book, & Scone Society series, the Book Retreat Mysteries, the Books By the Bay Mysteries, the Charmed Pie Shoppe Mysteries, the Molly Appleby Antiques & Collectibles Mysteries, and the Hope Street Mysteries.

Who is Conn Iggulden?

Born in 1971, Conn Iggulden is a British author specialized in historical fiction. He first worked as an English teacher before leaving his position to write his debut novel, The Gates of Rome, the first in a five-part series entitled Emperor and centred around Julius Caesar, from childhood to his death.

Iggulden became a famous historical fiction writer, and is the first person to top the UK fiction and non fiction charts at the same time in 2007. After Julius Caesar, the writer turns his interests towards the life of Mongol warlords Genghis, Ogedai and Kublai Khan, explored in the Conqueror series. He also wrote about the Wars of the Roses, St. Dunstan or Prince Cyrus.

In parallel to his historical novels, he co-wrote with his brother The Dangerous Book for Boys series, a guidebook for children which has also been turned into a six-part television series by Amazon Prime Video.

Conn Iggulden is married and lives with his wife and four children in Hertfordshire, England.

Who is Sophie Kinsella?

Sophie Kinsella have been writing romantic comedies for over two decades. Born in London, Sophie Kinsella has graduated from Oxford University and worked as a financial journalist, before becoming a fiction writer.

Her first book was published when she was 26, under her real name, Madeleine Wickham. She found critical and public success and went on to publish more books as Madeleine Wickham. But it is as Sophie Kinsella that she first hit the UK bestseller lists in September 2000 with her first novel in the Shopaholic series. Her books have sold over 40 million copies in more than 60 countries, and been translated into over 40 languages.

She lives in Dorset and London, with her husband and her five children.
