Sex, Murder and a Double Latte – Thriller scribe Sophie Katz is as hard-boiled as a woman who drinks Grande Caramel Brownie Frappuccinos can be. So Sophie knows it’s not paranoia or post-divorce, living-alone-again jitters when she becomes convinced that a crazed reader is sneaking into her apartment to reenact scenes from her books. The police, however, can’t tell a good plot from an unmarked grave. When a filmmaker friend is brutally murdered in the manner of a death scene in one of his movies, Sophie becomes convinced that a copycat killer is on the loose -and that she’s the next target.

Passion, Betrayal and Killer Highlights – Sophie Katz has just offered a man $12,000 for his services… Is she desperate or just meshugeneh? Considering the kind of disasters that usually befall the half-black, half-Jewishmystery writer, probably both. Because the last time Sophie saw sexy P.I. Anatoly Darinsky, he practically danced a jig when she waved goodbye-a normal reaction for a man who’d nearly bought the farm trying to protect her from her own foolishness. What are the chances he’d agree to take incriminating pictures of her sister’s philandering husband? Or that he’d let her tag along-you know…for research?

Obsession, Deceit and Really Dark Chocolate – Sophie Katz’s relationship with the irresistible and occasionally insufferable P.I. Anatoly Darinsky is on the fritz when a friend recruits Sophie’s investigation skills to decode her possibly two-timing husband’s strange behavior. When Sophie shows up in a short, red cocktail dress and her friend’s hubby winds up dead, the loveable would-be sleuth can’t help but take on the job.

Lust, Loathing and a Little Lip Gloss – Mystery writer and dabbling recreational sleuth Sophie Katz is head over heels in love-with a three-bedroom Victorian. She’s just got to have it, despite a few drawbacks. Her slimy ex is the Realtor. The rich, creepy seller wants her to join San Francisco’s spirited Specter Society. And her first tour of the house reveals, well, a lifeless body clutching a cameo with a disturbing history of its own.

Vows, Vendettas & a Little Black Dress – Overjoyed at Maryanne’s engagement, amateur sleuth Sophie Katz can’t wait for the wedding vows and party toasts to begin. But then Dena-best friend, bridesmaid and all-around vixen-is mysteriously shot just after the announcement. Leave this to the authorities? No way. Dena may never walk again, and Sophie vows to marry her fists with the shooter’s face. Problem is, the number of suspects is off the charts-from jaded lovers to anti-free-lovers to just plain old haters.

Vanity, Vengeance & A Weekend In Vegas – Sophie Katz, bestselling mystery writer and amateur sleuth, has just discovered that Anatoly, her sexy Russian P.I boyfriend of six years is actually married to the daughter of a Russian mafia boss. Devastated by his betrayal, Sophie banishes him from their beautiful San Francisco Victorian home. Desperate to distract their friend and pull her out of her depression, Dena and Marcus spirit Sophie away to Vegas for a “fun-filled weekend” at a Sex Toy Trade Show. But bigger trouble awaits in Vegas.

Seven Swans a’ Shooting (short story) – Part of the 12 Days of Christmas Collection. With Christmas right around the corner, Sophie’s sister is organizing a Swan Lake flash mob for a tech mogul’s elaborate holiday marriage proposal. But when the prima ballerina turns up dead, Sophie and her sister become prime suspects in the murder, not to mention suspects in the theft of a massive diamond ring. Now Sophie has just twenty-four hours to find out who really killed the Swan Princess or risk losing her sister, her life…or maybe both.

Chaos, Desire & A Kick-Ass Cupcake – Nothing cures a case of the doldrums faster than a terrifying murder… Mystery writer and dabbling amateur sleuth, Sophie Katz, knows her career and her fiery love affair with P.I. boyfriend, Anatoly Darinsky can survive anything except decaf and boredom. So, when Anatoly passes up a mysterious stalker case, Sophie decides to take it on herself…just for the drama of it all. But when people involved in the case start dying under suspicious circumstances and the stalker sets his sights on Sophie what started as a recreational undertaking quickly becomes an obsession. Is art and passion really worth risking your life for? And if not, will Sophie to walk away before it’s too late?

The Just One Night Series

  1. Just One Night (2013)
  2. Just One Lie (2015)
  3. Just Once More (2015)

For more information about the books in the Just One Night series by Kyra Davis, you’ll find below the official synopsis for all the books:

Just One Night – Kasie Fitzgerald knows who she’s supposed to be. She’s a rising star workaholic at a global consulting firm. She’s the fiancée of a well-connected man who’s won the approval of her parents. People know that she’s reliable, serious, proper, cautious, pragmatic, and yes, a little predictable. She’s who Dave and her family want her to be. But as her thirtieth birthday looms, buried feelings begin to resurrect. Her friend takes her to Vegas for one last wild and crazy night. In a dress much shorter and sexier than anything she has ever dared to wear before, she hits the blackjack tables. And meets him. Under the tailored clothes, it’s clear that this is a man who is intense, powerful, and maybe even a little dangerous.

Just One Lie – Melody Fitzgerald is the opposite of the “perfect” daughter. The lead singer of an indie rock band, she is impulsive and creative, with a rebellious streak that both defines her and becomes her greatest enemy. Her lover, the enticing and unpredictable Ash, shares her free spirit and penchant for trouble. On the face of it, he seems to be her perfect match. So why is she so drawn to her soft-spoken, reliable drummer, Brad Witmer? How can a man who wears polo shirts and reads the financial section of the paper be of any interest to her at all? And why on earth does someone like that appear to be so captivated by her?

Just Once More – Robert Dade is a man who knows what he wants and never hesitates to go after it. Money, power, and-at long last-the woman he loves, Kasie Fitzgerald, are now his. But after so many years of living by his own rules will he really make the compromises necessary to keep Kasie by his side? And when a man even richer and more ruthless than he is taking an interest in Kasie, will Dade be able to protect her? Or will his controlling nature drive her toward the very danger he seeks to shield her from?

The Pure Sin Series

  1. Deceptive Innocence (2014)
  2. Dangerous Alliance (2014)

For more information about the books in the Pure Sin series by Kyra Davis, you’ll find below the official synopsis for all the books:

Deceptive Innocence – Ever since Bell’s mother died while serving time for a murder she didn’t commit, Bell’s been focused on one thing: revenge. She knows her mother was set up by Jonathon Gable, the head of both the powerful Gable family and an international banking corporation. Now she’s determined to take him down-from the inside. Bell needs access to the Gable home and offices, so she poses as a bartender to seduce her way into the bed-and life-of Jonathon’s rebellious youngest son, Lander. He’s not a typical Gable, spending more time in the dive bars of Harlem than the posh cocktail lounges of the Upper East Side. He has an attraction to danger, a vulnerability Bell isn’t shy about exploiting. It should be easy to uncover the secrets she needs to destroy his family and clear her mother’s name.

Dangerous Alliance – The beautiful, angry Bell has revenge in her heart and Lander Gable in her sights. She’s seduced her way into his arms with the intent to destroy his wealthy family. But now that she’s there, lust and passion have begun squeezing out that desire for vengeance. It’s a dangerous game Bell is playing, and sex, mystery, and lies are the most intriguing game pieces of all.
