David Walliams (stage name of David Edward Williams) is an English comedian, actor, television personality, and–of course–writer. Best known for his (and Matt Lucas’) BBC sketch comedy series Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, Walliams is also a judge on the television talent show competition Britain’s Got Talent on ITV.

In 2008, he published his first Children’s novel, The Boy in the Dress. He didn’t stop after that, writing one a year or more. Some of them have been adapted into films for BBC One or Sky One. He also published picture books and Short story collections illustrated by Tony Ross–Quentin Blake only illustrated his first two books.

  • Mr Stink (aka Mr Mingin: Mr Stink in Scots, 2009) – It all starts when Chloe makes friends with Mr Stink, the local tramp. Yes, he smells a bit. But when it looks like he might be driven out of town, Chloe decides to hide him in the garden shed. Now Chloe’s got to make sure no one finds out her secret. And speaking of secrets, there just might be more to Mr Stink than meets the eye! or the nose.
  • Billionaire Boy (2010) – Joe has a lot of reasons to be happy. About a billion of them, in fact. You see, Joe’s rich. Really, really rich. Joe’s got his own bowling alley, his own cinema, even his own butler who is also an orangutan. He’s the wealthiest twelve-year-old in the land. Yes, Joe has absolutely everything he could possibly want. But there’s just one thing he really needs: a friend!
  • Gangsta Granny (2011) – Ben is bored beyond belief after he is made to stay at his grandma’s house. All she wants to do is to play Scrabble, and eat cabbage soup.
